Terms of use.

These terms govern your use of the DRINK2 app, website, invitations, and event services. By using DRINK2, you agree to them.

Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter these terms. If an event involves alcohol, you must meet the legal drinking age and all other requirements that apply where the event takes place.

Accounts and guest access

Keep your account and device secure and give us accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. A guest may join with a name-only anonymous account. Anonymous accounts may not be recoverable after logout or device loss.

Events and responsible use

DRINK2 helps people coordinate private events and requests. We do not sell, supply, deliver, or serve alcohol and we do not verify a person's age or licensing status. Hosts, bartenders, and guests are solely responsible for lawful and responsible service, consent, safety, and compliance with venue rules and local law. Never use DRINK2 to pressure unsafe consumption or coordinate illegal activity.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload. You give DRINK2 a limited licence to host, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate and improve the service. You must have permission to share content featuring other people and must not upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, or abusive material.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the service, probe or bypass security, scrape personal information, impersonate others, misuse invitations, submit fraudulent requests, distribute malware, or use DRINK2 in a way that harms people or violates law. We may restrict or remove access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep DRINK2 reliable, but the service may change, pause, or be unavailable. Features may be added, removed, or updated. We do not guarantee that every invitation, notification, request, or stored item will always be delivered or retained.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, DRINK2 is provided “as is” and without implied guarantees beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. DRINK2 is not responsible for event conduct, alcohol service, user content, third-party services, or indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Ending use

You may stop using DRINK2 at any time. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations, security risk, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. Provisions that logically continue after termination will remain in effect.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Before starting formal proceedings, both sides should try in good faith to resolve the issue. Questions can be sent to legal@drink2.co.
